Anna Bernice (Egolf) Werner, 90, of Denver, PA passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 in the comfort of her home. She was born in Pottstown, PA, the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Helen (Neiman) Egolf. She was the wife of Thomas Werner. Anna was a retired school bus driver, she drove for 20 yrs. with Klein Transportation in Douglassville, PA and 20 yrs. for Brevard County in Titusville, FL. She was a member of the O.E.S. Schuylkill Chapter 338 and a member of St. John...’s Reformed Church in Sinking Springs, PA. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. Surviving Anna, along with her husband Thomas are: 2 daughters: Denise Buckwalter, wife of Eugene of Amity Twp., PA and Patricia Sowers, wife of Jeffrey of Union Twp., PA; 1 brother: Melvin Egolf; 1 sister: Joan Bartman; step-son: Kerry Werner; 2 step-daughters: Kim Pribish and Lisa Davidheiser; 4 grandchildren: Kevin & Ryan Buckwalter and Jeffrey & Justin Sowers; and 5 great grandchildren: Anna, Grace, Sarah, and Madelyne Buckwalter and Julianne Sowers. Ryan C. Helms, 49, of Cumru Twp.,Berks Co., PA passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at the Reading Hospital. He was born in Reading, PA, the son of Kerry G. Helms, husband of Marilyn of Temple, PA and Jamie (Rhoads) Jablonski, wife of Gary. He was the husband of Erinn A. (Desjardins) Helms. Ryan worked as a Business Manager for Local I.B.E.W. 743. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. Surviving Ryan, along with his wife and parents are: 1 son: Griffin at home; 4 siste...rs: Shannon Stump, Ashley Jablonski, Mary Zerbe, and Jessica Zerbe; paternal aunt & uncle: Sandra and Kenneth Kieffer; and niece & nephew: Briley and Quentin. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents: Russell and Dorothy (Coldren) Helms and maternal grandparents: Paul and Betty Rhoads. Services will be private at the convenience of the family at this time. A Celebration of Life Services will be scheduled at a later date. The family has requested that no flowers be sent. Cornelia (Lynch) Zangrilli, 74, of Douglassville, Amity Twp., PA passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. She was born in Wilmington DE, the daughter of the late John F. Lynch, Sr. and the late Mary E. (Haley) Lynch. Cornie will be deeply missed by her best friend and husband of 49 years, John D. Zangrilli. She graduated Northeastern Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia, PA and served as a registered nurse in various... fields for many years. Her adventures over these years have led to everlasting friendships, domestic and international travel, and a courageous nature to be bold. She realized her dream of having a beach house and spent many summers enjoying the ocean, riding bikes, eating ice cream, and making memories with her family and friends. She was a member of Immaculate Conception BVMRC Church. Surviving Cornie, along with her husband, John are:4 children, Christopher Zangrilli of Collegeville, PA, Monica Zangrilli of Downingtown PA, Jeffrey Zangrilli of Cherry Hill NJ, and Marcia Bryan of Leander TX; 2 brothers: John F. Lynch, Jr., Joseph Lynch; and 4 sisters: Mary Phillips, Julie Ann Jefferson, Roberta Long, Bernadette Marvel. She loved spending time with her 5 grandchildren, Andrew, Sara, Alex, Ellie, and Zachary who fondly called her Mama Bear. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 11:00AM at Immaculate Conception BVMRC Church, 905 Chestnut St. Douglassville, (Union Twp.) PA 19518. A viewing will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00AM- 11:00AM before the mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Stanley G. Messner, 72, of Morgantown, Caernarvon Twp., Chester Co., PA, passed away on November 22, 2020 in his residence. He was born in Reading, PA, the son of the late George L. Messner and the late Grace S. (Krammes) Glass. Stanley was a Chemical Engineer Supervisor at the former Crompton & Knowles Corp. in Birdsboro, PA. After retirement he was the Produce Supervisor at Wal-Mart, Morgantown. He was a member of St. John’s UCC in Gibraltar, PA, a member of the NRA, Gibra...ltar Fire Co., and South Birdsboro Archery, Rod, & Gun Club. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, fishing, and hunting. Surviving Stanley are: 1 son: Thomas S. Messner of West Reading, PA; 2 daughters: Dawn P. Hunsicker, wife of Gerard of Birdsboro, PA, Rachel A. Smith of Bernville, PA; 1 brother: Charles Glass of Morgantown, PA; 4 sisters: Joyce Stump of Wyomissing, PA, Jean Kline of Wernersville, PA, Jane Hart of Birdsboro, PA, Janis Mieczkowski of Birdsboro, PA; 3 grandsons; and 1 great grandchild. Grace (Bitler) Arters, of Birdsboro, Union Twp. PA, passed away on November 20, 2020 at the Highlands at Wyomissing. She was born in Birdsboro, PA, the daughter of the late Paul and Margaret (Winings) Bitler. She was the widower of Joseph C. Arters who died in 1995. Grace worked in Accounting for the former Mrs. Smith’s Pie Co. in Pottstown, PA and KDN Insurance in Wyomissing, PA. She was a member of the ELKS in Pottstown, PA and the Birdsboro Sportsmen’s Club. Grace was an a...vid bowler and golfer. Surviving Grace is her daughter: S. Kelly Taylor, wife of Norman of Glastonbury, CT.
