Since the Student Nurses' Association could not have their annual NICU Reunion at Lone Lane Park, we had to modify how we were going to celebrate NICU graduates! To honor the NICU babies at the local hospital the staff members took pictures of the babies in their Halloween costumes for a contest. We put these pictures on a poster board to be showcased at Lehigh Valley Health Network. People passing by were able to vote on the cutest costumes! We could not get over how cute the babies looked!

There's an online auction for some incredible items all month long with 100% of the proceeds going to the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley and St. Luke Cancer Center!! At the beginning of September, a few of the DeSales Student Nurses' Association members headed over to Central Elementary school in Allentown to help out members helped make bags with school supplies for the students. They put together over 750 bags of supplies that will be sent home for every student in grades K-5! We are so proud of our members for taking time out of their busy schedules to come to do this!
