The Philadelphia Design District is presenting "The Art of Resilience", a pop-up installation in a vacant store front at 138 North 3rd Street throughout the DesignPhilly festival, Oct. 7-18. Synesthesia is the pilot to a series of interactive installations by the SYNESTHETIC Research & Design Lab directed by Severino Alfonso and Loukia Tsafoulia at the College of Architecture and the Built Environment, Thomas Jefferson University. The Lab serves as a collaborative research and prototyping platform where interactive design and emergent health sciences meet, underlining the recursion between the individual and their environment.
