Residents at Devonshire Park have been enjoying the winter as many others have, ? but are definitely looking forward to spring. Even though the snow has been a nuisance and caused many appointments to be changed, walks to be cancelled and cars to be cleaned off, it does have some beauty to it as shown in this picture. How nice it is to sit inside and enjoy the sunset from your warm, cozy apartment. How nice it is to have a fitness center in the complex so when we can't walk w...e can go use the treadmill or other equipment. How nice it is to have our great maintenance crew keep our sidewalks clean and free of snow and ice. Let's hope that March 1st. brings an early spring.

Devonshire Park Apartments management, staff and residents are wishing you a very Happy and Safe New Year. May the New Year see the return of our activities and getting together with our friends and neighbors. Everyone is missing Bingo get-togethers and dinners. We are PROUD to announce that for the 8th year in a row Devonshire Park Apartments has won the Readers Choice Award for being the best apartment complex in the area! We couldn't have done it without all of your votes and support for our community. THANK YOU!

We have a group of ladies in our complex that get together to make scarves and donate them to the homeless communities. Up until Covid they would all meet in the Activity room to make the scarves and converse on a weekly basis. Even though Covid has restricted the way they are used to doing things, they never stopped making the scarves. Now they do it in their homes. We are proud to have such thoughtful tenants who do what they can to make the world a better place.

National Good Neighbor Day on September 28th creates an opportunity for neighbors to get to know each other better. This day acknowledges and celebrates the importance of a good neighbor. It is a blessing to have a good neighbor, but it is even a greater thing to BE a good neighbor. Good neighbors often become friends. They watch out for each other, lend a helping hand, and are there for advice when asked. Neighbors offer that cup of sugar when we are short, collect our mail when we are on vacation, watch our homes, and sometimes watch our children and our pets. Simply put, being a good neighbor makes good neighbors and develops lifelong friendships.

NATIONAL DOG DAY National Dog Day on August 26th encourages dog ownership of all breeds. While seeking a new companion, be sure to consider the mutts, mixes, purebreds, and everything in between. While many days aim to find loving homes for dogs, this day expands that consideration to look beyond the breed. Look into the heart of the animal. The purpose of the National Dog Day Foundation is to rescue 10,000 dogs each year. Here are some photos of our staff members pups. Devonshire Park Apartments sits on 37 acres of beautifully landscaped property. The atmosphere and views are serene and peaceful. Our tenants enjoy sitting on the benches throughout the property relaxing in the sun or sitting under a shady tree listening to the birds chirping and watching the squirrels chase each other across the lawn.

Happy 3rd Birthday to our office mascot, Romeo! We love having this little guy around. He brings a smile to all of our staff and tenants faces daily.

Can anyone think of a better way to spend a rainy day than baking these chewy melt in your mouth cookies... I sure cant! On August 4th, National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day gives us an opportunity to dunk American’s #1 favorite cookie. Whether yours are homemade or store bought, pour a glass of milk and enjoy. Without chocolate chips, the cookie would still be number one. Or would it?... For that reason, we also recognize Ruth Graves Wakefield on National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day. Thanks to her inventiveness and curiosity, chocolate chips and a cookie dough go together. And for this reason, we hover around ovens savoring the moment the timer dings.

It has been a hot summer with lots of challenges, but there is always a rainbow over Devonshire. Happy Summer! Stay safe and cool till be see each other again.
