In honor of #GivingTuesday we would first and foremost again like to thank EVERYONE in the community who has donated to us, especially over this very difficult past year! We would not be able operate without the kind donations we receive. Second, we would like to re-post our message from earlier this week - THANK YOU! We are so grateful for the support the community has already shown the Dewey Fire Company for Fireworks, Raffles, and Fall FunFest among other donati...ons during this very difficult year. The funds already contributed by the community specifically for fireworks remain dedicated specifically for that purpose and are not being used for renovations. That being said, we hope you have noticed the progress of our renovations on our Facebook page! During the process, we have made very major changes and have uncovered some surprises along the way. We are so excited to share our new space with the community and we could use your help! Received a thoughtful question this morning from a community member about making a direct donation to the Dewey renovation fund instead of going through Go Fund Me. Yes, of course! Thank you! If you are able, and so desire, you many send any donation to Dewey Fire Company with Building Fund in the memo line, to 502 Durham Street Hellertown, PA 18055 attention Gail Nolf. There is also a big mailbox right outside the front door against the brick wall. (As a gentle addition, please note that all funds from this drive will be towards the building renovations. The Fireworks Fund is INTACT and will remain intact to be used solely for 2021 Dewey Fireworks).
