We love our pharmaceuticals, they love making our Friday’s just a little sweeter!
PATIENT SPOTLIGHT - Story shared with permission We are thrilled to celebrate our patient, Karen Rosado, who was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in September 2020 and COMPLETELY reversed it with nutrition changes alone!! We asked her how she did it. Here are some of her tips! In the beginning, I drank lots of water with a little flavor of diet green tea. No more of 3 to 4 slices of pizza, 1 and a half at the most, and a side salad. Skip the potatoes and French fries and rice.... Totally cut out potato chips, my new snack was unsalted peanuts in the shell. You can still eat bread, make sure you toast it that burns out the sugar. Lots of veggies - broccoli, cabbage, turnips, Rutabaga, green beans, cauliflower, and lots of legumes. Round out your meal with a cup of skim milk. Oatmeal with blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and a tablespoon of butter She also started drinking Herbaly tea, which she noticed brought numbers down and gave her more energy!
Our staff is doing their part to keep our families, friends and patients healthy!!!! 1st vaccine done!

We are all tired of COVID-19! All of us want to go back to our usual routines and rituals. Unfortunately, infections are increasing at an alarming rate in our area and all around the country. Our office would like to share some tips to help you stay healthy through the coming months. Feel free to contact our office with any questions or concerns. 1) Practice good hand hygiene Wash hands or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer frequently, avoid touching your face. 2) Cough etiqu...ette Cough into elbow or into handkerchief (and then practice hand hygiene!) 3) If you are sick, stay home! If you need medical attention, call our office for advice. 4) Wear a mask if you are in public near others The CDC recommends this and countries that wear masks consistently are having less infections than those where masks are not being used. 5) Limit social gatherings With the holidays coming, it is tempting to have big family events, but consider smaller events and virtual meetings to help prevent the spread. 6) Get a flu shot! Please let your provider know if you have questions or concerns about this vaccine. See more
