Dillon Floral

Hilux looks very impressive 1 day in. Starting to open. No bad things to say yet.

This weeks rose test is Hilux. It is grown by one of our rose farms in Columbia, Farm Direct. I have high hopes!!!! Very good substitute for the very popular rose, Orange Crush.

7 days and Quicksand is exquisite!!!!! Looks like a long lasting rose too. Foliage still green. You can see the variations in color from one stem to the next. Just a great rose. Not large blooms, but not small either. A winner for sure.

Day 4. Quicksand about half open. Look great. Some comments: a brides dream color, beige dusty pink, opening consistently but not all stems are consistent in color. Have a nice weekend everyone.

Day 3 of the Quicksand testing. Roses about 1/3 open. No blemishes or marks on the flowers. Foliage nice and green. Not drinking a lot of water but still nice and firm. Some may not like the color but it is performing well. More tomorrow.

Day 3. Explorer rose from Ecuador. Pros so far: perfect burgundy color, large size flower, nice green foliage. Cons: not opening much. Maybe it will open slowly but fully, maybe it will not open completely. Time will tell!!!

Day 2. Explorer looks great. Opening slowly. A true dark red. This rose is from one of our partner farms Unique Collection in Ecuador. Stay tuned!!!!

Julie is filling this week for Tony, she is here to let everyone know that we still have poinsettias for sale. Also the rose trial of the week is Explorer it’s a nice deep dark red color. That’s all for today!

Dillon Freedoms at 9 days. Some dark edges now. I’d say opened about 75%. Foliage still green and still drinking a ton of water. Dillon Freedoms are the best on the market. Perfection

7 days of the Dillon Freedom rose test. They look great. About 3/4 open still will open more. Foliage still bright green. A few marks on the outer petals but these can be taken off easily. Best red rose on the market!!!!!
