Happy New Years Eve! Opening tomorrow 1/1/20 at 9am closing at 10pm_

The 13th and Pine St. Cafe is open for To-Go Cocktails and Sidewalk Drinking Wed-Sun 3-10pm Masks Required!

I don't normally post on Facebook but I feel that this is serious ....Please be aware, some people have an issue with mask wearers. My hands were full crossing 13th St. at Pine St. and a bicyclist, not wearing a mask riding south in the bike lane was approaching. I stopped in the middle of 13th to let him pass but for some reason he took offense of my mask and my stopping to give us both space for him to pass(especially since he was not wearing a mask). He proceeded to circle... me exclaiming my ignorance and spat at me. I was able to back up in time and his spittle hit the asphalt in front of me. He then road west on Pine. I was completely rattled by the whole interaction and was standing at the NE corner of 13th & Pine fumbling for my phone to at least take a photo of the back of him. It literally seemed like seconds later but he had circled back and appeared right in front of me on Pine St. He proceeded to spell his name "Chris Stouffer" and that I do not confuse it as "Christ" and started to explain why we would never be friends and spat on the ground again before riding once again towards Broad St. It was such a crazy scenario and I was shaking but was able to take 2 photos. I called 911. A officer took an incident report. I asked if I could send him the photos but all he told me to do is if he returns call 911. At least 5hours later I was driving across the South St bridge and saw him again on his bike turning down the ramp to the bike path. I'm sharing this because this was a scary incident and he and so many others like him may be doing this to other people. Covid is real and so are those who don't believe it is....Please be careful! I have reported this information to the police. See more
