Sunday Shelfie video! New additions this afternoon!
More books to add to my growing list of books to read!
I love historical fiction books, especially about World War 2 and the Holocaust. I would have been this book five stars but there was a bit too much romance for me and I also knew how the book would end about halfway through. This was the first book that I read by Kristin Harmel and it will not be my last. This was a very well researched and written book. Very informative facts about the brave souls of the Resistance who sacrificed their lives to to forge documents for the Jewish adults and children to escape and survive in a "free" country.

"My Monday" Reading Recommendations!
For me...everyday is book lovers' day!
"When witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, ‘tis near Halloween." HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
What's everyone reading on this damp, dreary, cold, rainy day? I'm revisiting a classic that I read back in high school! Very thought provoking!
What book did you struggle to finish? (Post a pic of the book in the comments!)
Kya!!! I am thrilled to tell you that the British star Daisy Edgar-Jones has been cast as Kya in the Crawdads movie!!! She is perfect. Very tender but also tough. Soulful but playful. I watched her audition and cried. You will love her.
FUN FACT!!! Lucy is based on Lucy Barfield, Lewis’s goddaughter, and the daughter of Owen Barfield. She was 4 years old when he started the book and 14 when he finished it. In the dedication to Lucy, he said, Someday you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again. You can then take it down from some upper shelf, dust it, and tell me what you think of it.
SUNDAY FUNDAY! How many points did you get? I got 18 points...I'm a "BONAFIDE BOOKWORM"!
I just bought this book! I'll have to bump it up to the top of my TBR list!
Available in the library now!
Typically not my genre to read but I was fascinated by the description. Hauntingly creepy and definitely readable especially with Halloween almost upon us!
The shelves have been restocked with new books! Stop by if you need a good read for the weekend!
