So with 2021 approaching thank goodness! And the year from a Stephen King movie!!! I'm sure ready for embracing a good new year!, I kinda feel it, I feel positive, we are going uphill I pray!, So, Carm and I were discussing maybe some changes in the decor at salon. It has a very calming, charming look to it now, but I'm ready for a new change for our upcoming 3 years opened. So some great opinions would be awesome. We would love your feedback! We always want the warm, welcoming, feel good and comfy vibes! Let's us know what you all think

Gm ladies, I regret to inform everyone that as of this week until spring or later my schedule will be very limited, I cannot accept any new clients at this time, and I will not be flexible with my schedule for the Christmas Season I do apologize for any inconvenience. My hours will be shortened, but I will be here for my current clients, just very part time as of now. I know we need to wear masks and due to that I had a very bad situation which made me extremely sick last w...eek, I do have asthma, allergies and I got very sick due to wearing the masks all day at salon, I need to stay healthy so this decision is hard for my business but safety and health first. I will be here for all my current clients!, you can count on that!, but I will have a condensed schedule due to wearing masks and due to rising numbers of Covid. Due to the rise in Covid numbers recently, Im asking everyone please if your exposed to covid, or feel sick even slightly with any symptoms at all, or if you have been out of state to please let us know at the salon, you will need to quarnteen for 14 days. It's crucial to keep myself, my family, and all my clients safe and healthy as possible. With the holidays approaching everyone wants to be healthy to spend time with loved ones, please if anyone has a fever or any symptoms of covid we will need to reschedule or if you have been exposed to someone with covid. Gm ladies!!!, with the predicted snow storm thats heading our way, which they now changed to "20 to 24" as of thismorning, which will be starting at 12 to 2pm today. The Distinctive Touch will be closed. I will check conditions once it stops to reopen and reschedule everyone that has appointments Thursday, Friday and Sat. Hopefully our wknd will be better for us. Please stay home, stay safe!!!

We lost a wonderful soul yesterday, Becky Rutkowski, a dear friend and client for many years passed to a long battle of cancer. She's at peace with her daughter Laura. I'm sure many of you met her in the salon, beautiful person inside and out, I will miss our conversations and laughs we had together. I will miss her so much! Please say prayers for her and her family . Love you Becky!!. my heart is broken.
