Ruby has been very active in IECA's Therapeutic Committee, hosting some of the virtual tours and participating in a Conference session called Mitigating Risks in Therapeutic Consulting. Ruby and Jody helped co-author an article in IECA's Insights newsletter on how consultants are supporting each other during this time of enforced isolation.

During the COVID shutdown, we have been far from idle! IECA's Therapeutic and Schools Committees arranged for more than 30 virtual tours of schools and programs, each about an hour in length. Not the same as an in-person visit - but they were actually extremely informative. See our website for details!

Boarding School news - traditional schools have sent their kids home, but they are still accepting applications for the fall. The are conducting virtual tours and interview sessions for candidates and their families, expecting to be open in the fall. Apply now!

IMPORTANT - most therapeutic programs including wilderness programs are open! They have kept their current clients safely on campus or in wilderness settings, they have developed stringent COVID safety protocols, and are still accepting new referrals.

Recent visits/re-visits: Franklin Academy, Woodhall School, Greenwood School, Forman School, Maplebrook School, Eagle Hill School, Landmark School, Riverview School.

Recent visits to Grove School, Pomfret School, Marianapolis School, and Riverview School. Attended and presented at NATSAP NE Regional, and headed to IECA in Atlanta in November. Busy fall!

The fall school and program visiting season has started! Re-visited Lawrenceville and Hill today. Attending a reception for Mid Atlantic Boarding Schools on Sunday. Presenting at the Northeast NATSAP Conference in October. Other program visits being planned this fall and winter in Georgia, North Carolina, and Puerto Rico.

Heading to LA for the IECA fall conference. Ruby will tour therapeutic programs while Jody visits CA boarding schools.

Travel plans so far for 2018-19 - Touring Buxton, Darrow, Simon's Rock, Miss Hall's end of September. Then NATSAP Northeast on Cape Cod. IECA in CA early November... TABS in DC end of November NATSAP National in San Antonio end of January

Busy travel in 2018! NATSAP (therapeutic programs) conference in January in Florida, GEMS conference (therapeutic) in UT in March, SBSA (boarding schools) in VA next week, IECA conference (consultants, schools, and therapeutic) in TX coming up in April. Plus school and program visits in all locations.
