We and our worries are dwarfed by the magnificence and magnitude of the universe. Perspective is important - when we meditate we should remember our place in this beautiful and awesome universe we call home.

Corona Virus, Relax, no seriously, Relax - what you CAN DO! Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedomsto choose one’s at...titude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way. Viktor E. Frankl Sometimes there are situations where there is nothing you can do. This is NOT one of them Wash your hands, don’t touch your face, try not to touch handles, elevator buttons or counters in public places. Stay away from people who are obviously sick. You know, the stuff your parents taught you and you ignored (and survived) as a child,,, and you survived, imagine that! But there is more to this than simply hygiene. The media and fear of the unknown are our worst emotional enemies. This virus is much like the flu, in fact it’s the same as the flu, but much better publicized and perhaps a slightly stronger strain. But it’s not the end of the world and most who get this flu will be absolutely fine. It might help to take a lesson from someone who have faced real crises and isolation. Victor Frankel was interned in a concentration camp during World War ll and subjected to physical tortures such as no food, horrible living conditions as well as mental abuse, regularly threatened with sickness and dying. Many perished but he did not. His ability to visualize the future, being back with his family and faith that he would survive and become stronger let him not only survive but help his men do the same. And upon return home to Vienna he became one of the greatest teachers of how the mind controls and alters our body’s reactions to circumstances, stress and disease. So, what else can you do,,, learn to deal with the anxiety of fear of the unknown. I can help you do that simply and easily. Please take a few minutes to watch the attached video on relaxation and if you want to learn more, I am happy to help. Most important is to simply take a few minutes every day and escape: Escape the constant media bombardment of sensationalism Escape the daily stresses of life Escape the crowds of people and take some time alone Sleep and take naps, get to 7 or 8 hours a day even if not all at once Breathe,, take a few cleansing breaths every half hour and let them out slowly Sit and let go, let your muscles relax and do nothing for 10-20 minutes a day If you cannot get away, find a device that helps you escape and close out the world. Once you start letting go, taking some time for you, and remembering how wonderful your life is, or at least the things that make you happy, perspective returns. I had a patient years ago who was from Costa Rica. He and I were talking about the stresses of the world and how one crisis seemed to come after the next. He turned to me and said something I repeat to myself whenever things seem to be going wrong. A few words of wisdom that put each little crisis we face in life in perspective. His words made me realize that what was important was to live life in the moment, and not panic each time I became afraid. In his beautiful and soft-spoken accent, he said simply: Everything is never going to be all right His words put it all in perspective. Don’t wait until there is nothing to worry about, you will always find something. Just take each challenge and control all that you are able to, remember Viktor Frankel and his words. Control your inner world and nothing going around you matters. Live long, pain free and prosper Peace and love Scott A Surgeon's Self-Hypnosis Healing Solution - My Father's Secret by Dr. Scott M. Dr Scott Fried, the Doctor in the House, shares surgeons' secrets on how to heal carpal tunnel without surgery and comfortably at home. Even if you have had surgery, but still suffer, these techniques can often bring relief and freedom from pain. Dr Fried has written two books on carpal tunnel and nerve injury and gives insights on what he has learned about this problem from his patients and experience of 30 years as a hand surgeon. Dr Fried teaches you what carpal tunnel rea...lly is and shows you how healing can occur, simply, easily and effectively through understanding the actual cause of carpal tunnel, tendonitis and nerve pain. Using simple home techniques, making small changes in lifestyle, therapy and a dynamic splint (brace) like the Miracle Splint from Doctor in the House, people often heal without ever having to visit the operating room. Wayne himself said it best, you’ll see it when you believe it. whether its a change in your life, healing or anything you choose to put your mind to, once you burn it in your subconscious it becomes reality.

Bernie and Mother Teresa remind us that kindness and sharing love is so very important. Further, the small acts we perform often have the greatest meaning to those they help, even when we are unaware of the consequences. Kindness and love are contagious, just like laughter, smiles and gratitude.

We often do not know the effect of our small acts of love and kindness on those we meet. Each of you has a special wavelength and genius that only your can radiate. It is not the grand miracles that amaze me, rather the small ones that come back to us through returned smiles and hugs. Your own particular light is simply the energy you put out to the world. Be loving and kind and that will come back to you time and time again. This is how to change the world.

Live every day with a vision of how you see your life- one year, five years. and ten years from now. Meditate and see your life already there and your mind will know how to make it manifest!
