I have been giving my dogs two of the A-OK9 products for a while now; Flexi for Pinda's old joints and Prime for all three dogs digestive systems. They seem to be very good products that the dogs are happy to eat with their meals. I've always felt that supplements are essential for our pets since we can't possibly provide the diet nature intended for them. I'm proud to share my affiliate link and this special discount code with all of you! Check out the A-OK9 line and see what you think. https://a-ok9.com/discount/SHERRISTRIKWERD

I'm excited to announce that I will be attending the "2021 Dog Behavior Conference" produced by Victoria Stilwell on April 16th, 17th & 18th! Wee!! Each day will be packed with learning and I can't wait! What this means for my amazing training clients is that I will not be available for training that weekend, but I will be back with so much new learning that I can share with you!! xoxo

The subject of retractible leashes came up in a dog training group that I am in. I personally do not recommend them and do not use them, but I thought I would do a little digging. Here are a few quotes from the manufacturers of "Flexi" leashes; "If the cord/tape/belt wraps around fingers or catches on a ring, a hard pull on the leash can amputate fingers or break bones." "If you want to further reduce the risk of finger amputation and fractures, you can take off any rings an...d wear sturdy gloves." You can read more of the warnings in the link below. (and there are a lot) Yep, pretty much solidifies my thoughts on retractible leashes. NO WAY, NO HOW. https://www.flexi-northamerica.com/us/advantages-usage/

I can't believe this was two years ago! A lot of time, effort and work went into getting my diploma. I'm pretty proud of it.

As I am working on my new online program, "Geriatric Gems", my sweet old Pinda has been having a hard time in all this snow. I've ordered some CBD oil to add to her pain relief regiment and hope that it helps. It's tough being 15 when you're an 80 pound dog! My goal has been to launch my course at the end of this month, but since this is my first course of this type I didn't realize how much time and work would go into creating it! So, I'll be doing a mini "Gems" webinar soon and launching "Geriatric Gems" as soon as possible! Stay tuned! If you'd like to be in on the free mini Gems webinar, send me your email and I'll invite you with all the details!
