Today is the last day we’re hosting toy drives at each of our 17K stores. Customers may purchase and donate toys to a local recipient organization, which is chosen by each DG store manager. We are also providing Marine Corps Toys for Tots with a $100,000 donation to support their efforts. Thank you to all of our amazing employees and customers.

Lisa C., from our store in Summerdale, Alabama, has been chosen for our DG Kindness story of the week. In September of 2020, Hurricane Sally devastated the community of Baldwin County, Alabama. When Assistant Store Manager Lisa heard that local police were working around the clock, she jumped into action by supplying drinks and snacks. Lisa is finding new ways every day to thank those who serve our community in times of need. In honor of her efforts, Dollar General has made a $1,000 donation to Catholic Social Services to provide groceries and clothing to families who have fallen upon hard times. http://ms.spr.ly/6187pJ6Xz
