I know you're all very busy with holiday preparations but the potential FLOODING coming our way on Friday / Saturday is very real!... You can use this link from the Blue Heron Sports website to monitor the Susquehanna River and other streams. From the river map, zoom in on the dots near your area, and you'll be able to see actual and projected flooding crests, along with the timing they are predicting. Using the Penns Creek link, look within the top tan box, and click on "USGS National Water Dashboard." Then click on the dashboard when it appears, and you'll be able to see a similar map with dots representing local waterways. Please take time today and prepare if you're in a flood zone and/or check on friends who live near the river and small streams. It's hard to predict how quickly the snow will melt and how much rain we'll actually receive. Have a safe and Merry Christmas!!
