After 29 years of faithful service to the citizens and to the Borough of Dormont, Dormont Police Sergeant Ralf Zawischa’s has signed off for the last time. Enjoy your retirement and thank you for everything Sergeant, you will be missed.

Thank you for sharing, Mayor Jason Walsh, Dormont Al Mamaux was known during his playing days as "Dormont Al".. He was the son of John J. Mamaux, whose family founded and owned the well-known awning business A Mamaux and Sons. Born in Dormont in 1894, signed by the Pirates out of Duquense University in 1912 and won 21 games in both 1915 and 1916.
