1/11 Dubs Results: Before getting to the results, I want to give a shout out and an enormous thank you to @garybarentt for stepping up and running dubs the past few months. I personally miss being out there with everyone, but family has to come first, and without Gary stepping up, I’m not sure dubs would be happening. It’d be nice to have 2 or 3 more people who’d be willing to help out in case neither of us are able to make it, so, if you think that’s you, let me know. Anoth...er great turn out with 20 people showing up for glow. Mike and Dylan grab first with a -13 (41) Greg and Dave took second with a -10 (44) Justin and Jason snagged third with a -7 (47) Justin takes CTP. Hoping for another good weather night next week and hope to see you there.

1/4 Dubs Results: Two things real quick. *ace pot is currently $150. *thr marsh creek dam is gonna be opened on Thursday, which means the Brandywine will be rolling. If you have discs you need to look for, get to it (my destroyer is still somewhere around 15/16), and be careful with your throws. Discs will definitely travel far. ... 17 players came out to kick off the 2021 dubs season. Really digging the numbers. Great to see. Dylan and Gabe took first with a -13 (41) Foster and Coop got second with a -9 (45) And Colin got CTP on #10 (we owe you loot dude) Thanks for coming out, enjoy the week of dry weather and we’ll see you next week.

Crazy Late 12/28 Dubs results: Happy New year. Again, sorry I’m so late with the final 2020 update. 19 players showed with a bunch of first timers. Glad to see everyone and thanks to everyone helping to grow the sport, and promoting Dubs at Kerr. ... Ken & Bobby took first with a -14 (40) Dylan and Sarah nabbed 2nd with a -11 (43) Greg and Chris took 3rd with a -9 (45) Jon Jo took CTP on #7. 2020 was a crap year for everyone, but after taking week after week in 2019, Barry wrapped up 2020 with a 2-27 record for CTP. Kinda feel like it’d be beating a dead horse, so, not sure if we’ll keep track through 2021. Here’s to a year of aces, birdies, and good times...and getting back to mini Monday’s at Bottle Room. Really missing those.

11/2 Dubs Results: First, VOTE! Second, please keep an eye on this page for updates. I will not be at dubs next week, and will be reaching out to people to run things. If I can’t find someone, dubs will be cancelled. ... Third, we had 14 players show up on a chilly windy night. But the wind died down pretty early into the round, and it was the first true glow round of the season as it was already dark before we started. Greg M carried his bag, and Kirk, on his back throughout the round to take first with a -10. Jason and Brett took second with a -7 PJ locked up CTP on #10. Pretty sure he was the first person to tee off there for the night, basket wasn’t lit yet, and he drilled the post holding up the basket. We didn’t see it, but we absolutely heard it. Barry falls to 1-25. Have a great day, and again, vote, before you get out and play.

This week on DDGC, week 2 of glow Dubs results, a preview of next week, and virtual tags with special guest, The Amazing John Cavara and the shortest lasting ace pot ever. Tune is today at right now. 10/26 Glow Dubs results:... Another great night of glow was held on Monday. 17 players came out. Barry and Greg took first with a -11 (43) Colin and Ricky got second with a -9 (45) And Dan W took CTP on #7 sending Barry to a dismal 1-24 on the year. Next Week: Bumping up the start time to 530. I won’t pick teams until 530, giving everyone as much time as possible to get there. I’m looking for helpers. People who will consistently be available to help with turning on and off lights, and running glow a couple times a month. Please comment here, or message Kirk directly. Thanks. Virtual tags: Thanks to Gary B and Dan C (can’t take either for some reason) have put together virtual tags through UDisc. Head over to @chestercountydiscgolf to get all the info and get in on weekly tags. You’ll need a UDisc account and another player on your card for the round to count. Speaking of tags. Jon and Dan each threw in some cash to start an ace pot for tags. This is no longer available. Why, you ask? Because John Cavara is a freaking stud. A forehand Firebird on #10 hit nothing but chains, and helped him score a (possible) course record -14. Well done John. to everyone on his card for not getting the ace photo at the basket, but, I was able to acquire this gem below. That is all for now. See you at glow on Monday.

Dylan and Adam took first with a -12 (42) Greg and Charles snagged second with a -10 (44) Andy and Kirk rounded out third with a -9 (45) Foster won CTP on #6. Barry is 1-23 for CTPs this year. Looking to find out who set up, and is the admin for the Kerr Park UDisc page. If you know who it is, please get in contact with me ASAP. Thanks. 10/5 Dubs Results: For the last week of daylight dubs, we had another solid showing with 18 players coming out to play. ... John G and Gary had nothing but birdies on the back nine, finishing in first with a -14 (40). Jason H and John C took home second with a -11 (43) Greg M snagged another CTP on #5. Maybe Barry does better in the dark and can get another CTP since Feb. Think he’s at 1-21. Please keep a close eye on this page. We’re most likely taking next week off from any official dubs. But feel free to set something up amongst yourselves. When we have dubs again, it’ll be glow. All the same rules apply. Please be sure that your discs have glow tape or a light on them. Tape is recommended, as we’ve seen lots of lights pop off after hitting a tree. Tape requires a UV light source to really get the glow. Please get yourself prepared now, so you’re ready to go when the event is announced. Thanks for another great summer of Dubs, albeit a bit shortened. It was great to see so many people show up week after week. I know many of you didn’t play glow last year, but it is a lot of fun and brings new challenges to a course you’re so familiar with. I hope to see all of you throughout the fall/winter. Get out and play!
