Dravosburg Veterinary Hospital 07.12.2020

There have been a lot of changes in the past several weeks...one of which are new office managers for those who work at home...let’s see them!

Dravosburg Veterinary Hospital 23.11.2020

In an effort to protect our staff, patients, and community, the following changes are being implemented at Dravosburg Veterinary Hospital effective immediately. LIMITED HOURS: Monday -Thursday 9am to 3 pm, and Friday 9am-1pm DVH will only be seeing emergent and urgent cases during limited hours. All annual exams and elective procedures will be rescheduled for the coming weeks. Non-elective procedures will continue as scheduled. Please call our office for clarification or to s...chedule an urgent/emergent exam for your sick pet. To aid in social distancing, clients are no longer permitted in the hospital until further notice. Exceptions will be made for families with euthanasia appointments. When you arrive for your pet's urgent/emergent appointment, please call our office to let the staff know that you are here. A techinician will greet you and will accompany your pet into the hospital. All exam findings, recommendations, results, and treatment plans will be communicated via phone or at a safe distance outdoors. We will continue to be available for medication and food pick-up and refills. Please call for your medication, and pay via phone. A technician or client service representative will bring your medications to your car. Please be patient during this difficult time, and we thank you for helping us slow the spread of COVID-19. #flattenthecurve

Dravosburg Veterinary Hospital is committed to providing care for our patients during this COVID-19 crisis. We are working within the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and Allegheny County Health Department. These include - Asking staff to stay home if they are sick or someone in their family is sick.... - Disinfecting all surfaces throughout the day, in particular door handles and front counters. - Frequent hand washing -Avoid touching our own faces -Keeping a distance and discontinuing direct physical contacts such as handshaking or hugging. In order to mitigate the spread of the virus we: -Kindly request that you wait in the car or outside until we are ready for your appointment. -Limit the family members attending the appointment to one person. -Do not enter the clinic if you are ill or have been exposed to someone that is ill. We can always meet you at the car to bring your pet inside and communicate via phone. -Please wash your hands and cover any coughs. Please be patient with us. We will be doing our best with frequent staff shortages and extra steps involved. We are here to help you and your family and want to do our best to mitigate the spread of this virus for the well being of all of us and so we can resume our normal lives as soon as possible. Thank You, Dravosburg Veterinary Hospital and Staff
