Can we be honest with this? "Honey Nut Cheerios" or any "Cheerios" cannot "lower cholesterol", EVEN with a heart-healthy diet. Whole grain or steel-cut oats are a different story. Once the big "G" has ground down the whole, healthy grain into a fine powder, thrown away the fiber part of the grain, added sugar, flavorings and other additives, you are really just getting a cookie in the shape of an "O"!
