We loved hosting weddings this year, so we decided to repost some of our favorite pictures and couples. We start with the coolest couple we know, Joey and Lauren shallow.

Devin and I met in the spring of 2017, as so many of our generation do...online! Haha. From our first date, I was a bit unconvinced, but Devin was always sure I would be his wife. After moving in together in the spring of 2019, Devin proposed that summer out of nowhere. We were at home, our most comfortable, and he just pulled out the ring box, upside down and everything; it was perfect. Many people are confused when they see us together; we are opposites in a lot of ways; I’m loud, he’s quiet. I’m night, he’s the day. But they do say opposites attract :)

Hope & Jon's Love Story: Jon (Jonny) and Hope met in 2003 on the bus to Elizabethtown Middle School. Both were in 6th grade and Jon’s family had just moved to town from Kentucky. They quickly became a couple, but Hope broke up with him on AIM after 3 days. As the two grew up, they each went their separate ways and didn’t see each other for 10 years. Both were back in Etown following their college graduations in 2014, and the two ran into each other at a bar. Jon asked Hope... out and they went to a dive bar for trivia for their first date a week later. The two dated off and on (mostly on) for the past 6 years. In 2019, they realized they both are better when they are together and made it official one last time. Jon - or Jonny as Hope affectionately nicknamed him on their first date - surprised Hope with a trip to Cape May where he proposed on the beach under a rainbow. Congratulations Hope and Jon! Maya and Joe's Love Story: Joe and I hit it off from the very beginning. We spent most of our days together hiking and exploring new places, one of our favorite hobbies. Not long after, we moved in together, already knowing we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. Joe's proposal was absolutely perfect. It was 4th of July, 2019, and we were at Highpoint Scenic View in Wrightsville to watch the fireworks. From here you can see fireworks going off all across Lancaster and York County. Soon after it got dark enough and we enjoyed the view, he knelt down on one knee. It was truly one of the happiest day of my life and I am excited for our forever adventure! Congratulations Maya and Joe! We're so happy to have been a part of your big day!

Blair and Taylor, you are such awesome people and it was a pleasure to host your wedding at Drumore Estate. We wish you nothing but the best.

I CHOOSE YOU On a crisp, fall, day in September of 2013 Blair’s roommate asked her to go to the local sports bar to watch the Redskins/Eagles game. Blair at first was hesitant and wanted to stay home, but her roommate insisted; and before they knew it, they were enjoying a couple beers and some loaded tater tots. Halfway through the game, a group of boys walked down the sidewalk. One of them recognized Blair’s roommate and greeted her excitedly, his name was Taylor Smith. Our... meeting was unexpected and serendipitous in so many ways and we hit it off immediately. Our connection was clear, but our timing was off and within a few months we had lost touch. Little did we know we would reconnect the next summer and this time it would work. We fell in love over food, activities, and of course Netflix; but our story had many chapters to go. Taylor spent his years after he graduated traveling the world with no end date in mind which left us both feeling uncertain of what was in store for our relationship. Despite the distance, we promised to work on our relationship and put each other first. We spent an incredible three weeks in Spain, visiting some of the most historical and magical places in the world. But even after our time together we both agreed that the distance and uncertainty were too difficult to bear. We separated in Spain with the understanding that our relationship was over; thinking about how unfair it was that once again our timing was more powerful than our connection. Or so we thought... We never stopped speaking, and couldn’t stay away, no matter how hard we tried. Ten months later we reconnected face to face and talked about our future. So much had happened, but our connection remained, and it felt just like the day he left. In the next few months, we navigated through a lot of changes, but we chose each other every day. Almost four years later we have maintained that commitment and continue to choose each other no matter what each day holds. The Proposal This past August we went to Disney World in Orlando, FL where Taylor got down on one knee after we traveled the world in Epcot Center. In Paris, He talked about our commitment to each other and how we have always chosen each other and asked me to be his wife. Regardless of all the obstacles, we’ve faced we have always chosen to be together and to place our love first. We’re so excited for our lives to begin together and so grateful for everyone that has been a part of our story!

Josh and Elysha's Love Story It all started one fateful night to the sounds of crushing cardboard and the smells of a dumpster. Three months into working at Costco Josh was arguing with a coworker while throwing out trash. Meanwhile, Elysha a three veteran working at Costco was minding her own business taking out her trash at the end of the night, and walks up to Josh in the midst of his argument. John Clark and Joelle Williamson are the newest couples to be married at Drumore Estate. we love sharing their stories of how they meant and fell in love. The two exchanged texts one fall evening in 2014 and John bragged about his impeccable steak cooking skills and offered Joelle dinner. She replied back "it's a date." After an uncomfortable 20 minutes passed between the text, John agreed to the "date." October 11, 2014, rolled around and the date was filled with good food,... friends, and of course a Disney movie, Frozen. The two continued to talk over text and with the help of Alex the two connected and decided they would try dating. The date was October 15, 2014. Time moved on and the two grew together. College continued to mature both John and Joelle but they were always happiest when they had breaks together and spent summers in the same area. After many years of long-distance dating, the two knew they wanted to spend their lives together. On October 19, 2019, John took Joelle camping in Bass River State Park. With a beautiful lake in the back and Jarvis by John's side, he got down on one knee and asked Joelle to marry him. Joelle overjoyed said yes. See more

Drumore Estate is pleased to introduce Mr. And Mrs. Krimes. It was an honor to host your wedding Alan and Danyell.

Alan Krimes and Danyell Elicker are getting married at Drumore Estate On Friday, October 16th, 2020. here is their love story as told by Danyell. Alan is a sprint car driver racing every weekend at the local dirt tracks. We met at the racetrack thru mutual friends. In 2012, I interned in college at my current place of employment where I met one of Alan's best friend's girlfriend at the time (now wife). We discovered we had a mutual interest in racing so we went together. She... brought me to Alan's trailer as her now-husband worked on Alan's car. We were both dating someone else at the time, but 2 years later we were both single and he was interested. We met at a bar with those same friends in Oct 2014 and after making him wait 6 months until I was ready to commit again we made it official in Feb 2015. We got engaged in Oct 2019 at the PA Grand Canyon while on a trip up to the cabin in Potter County. The view was spectacular and I hadn't expected it. 2 weeks prior we had taken a hiking trip to Ricketts Glen where I thought it was going to happen. It didn't. And I was devastated. Then we visited Watkins Glenn State Park on the same weekend of the engagement and I thought eh, maybe? But I didn't get my hopes up this time. So at the end of our trip to the cabin, we always have lunch in the town of Wellsboro before we headed home. We did that and at the end of lunch he said, "why don't we head to the PA Grand Canyon to kill some time." And I'm like, "you want to drive 15 minutes back the other direction? That doesn't make much sense." He said, "well at this rate we'll hit 5pm traffic in Harrisburg, and this way we can avoid it." I thought, ok whatever, I'll just go with the flow if that's what he wants to do. We walked down a short trail and that's where it happened. I was shocked. I really hadn't thought anything about an engagement even though I initially thought the idea was odd. In the end, it was perfect! Now here we are 1 year later on our wedding day and we couldn't be happier to share this day with our family and friends! #partnersinkrimes Thanks, Danyell Elicker

What a beautiful micro wedding we had for Tiffanie Magnum & Autumn Womer the other evening!

We had blue skies this past weekend for the Ruhl & Loch Wedding! Congratulations to Valerie & Sam, we absolutely enjoyed having you!

To celebrate Brittany & Zach's Big Day at the Estate today, we want to share about how they met & fell for one another! "Zach & I met my senior year & his junior year at Towson University. We were both Computer Science majors & he was the only computer scientist I've ever seen with muscles *LOL* so I had my friend ask him to help me with my homework & he said yes! I continued to ask for help with my homework until he wanted to date! We've been together since 2014. We got Corona (our red golden retriever) the first day when we moved in together & he proposed with Budweiser (our English Cream). Our dogs mean a lot to us especially for those reasons which is why they HAVE to be included in our big day!" Congrats to you two today!

On July 31, 2017 Jeff and Megan met at a local beach bar called Sunset Cove. Megan was sitting out on the dock with a friend when Jeff, Josh (his cousin) and Justin (his friend) walked by towards the boats. Megan’s friend Shellie asked Jeff if he thought Megan was pretty. Jeff said she was and sat next to them and engaged in conversation. The conversation got serious and they had a lot of laughs. When Jeff went to leave he asked for Megan’s phone number. They talked on and of...f for almost a year checking in on each other to see how they were doing. They went on a hike to Calvert Cliffs and casually hung out one other time. On May 30, 2018 they went on a first official date back to where they met at Sunset Cove followed by playing some games at Dave and Busters. From that day on they were always together. On July 8, 2019 Jeff and Megan went to upstate New York for a weekend getaway in the woods with their dog Remington. They went hiking at Kaaterskill Falls, one of New York’s largest waterfalls. Jeff took Megan to the very top of the three tier waterfall where it was just the two of them and asked her to be his wife. Megan said YES!!!
