This week Bluebirds learned about bears, we painted, played with giant stuffed bears and did lots of singing and dancing

The School Age Assistant Teacher supports a seasoned Lead Teacher in a classroom of Kindergarten thorough 4th graders. The School Age Assistant Teacher is part of a professional team working to create a caring and safe environment for children and assisting in activities to improve overall care and quality of education before and after school. S/he must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. Assistant Teachers develop positive relationships with children and families and observe and document children’s interest and progress. Assistant Teachers are responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities based on children’s interests and needs under the direction of the Lead Teacher.

Bluebirds had a great first week back learning about winter we used connecting toys , had a colored ice sensory table and did lots of art and dancing
