A little ink on our ink from the Morning Call!

Why a not-for-profit publishing company? Artists, poets, and musicians want to nourish people with their images, words, and stories. But because of the current business models in the publishing industry, there is a dearth of publishers willing or able to take the risks inherent in producing high quality arts-related books. Production can be cost prohibitive and profit margins, razor thin. To address the need and fill this void, we have established a registered charity in order to off-set these costs making it possible for new voices to be heard.

Due Santi Publishing, Inc. is excited to announce our first publication launch for our new not-for-profit arts publishing company: I Give My Eyes is both a spiritual autobiography and a story of healing and salvation. Author, artist, and museum curator Brian H. Peterson looks back on a creative life and reflects on his own search for the deeper layers, the substrata. In luminous, poetic prose, he ties together private and public, inward and outward journeys, struggling ...with the realities of advancing Parkinson’s disease while discovering an affirmation of belief that embraces suffering and doubt. Somewhere there, in the middle, in the air between us, a door opens and a breath, a zephyr of love flows through. Invisible, fleeting, but is there anything more real? Anything more, somehow, permanent? Brian H. Peterson's book, I GIVE MY EYES will be available for $39.99 at Santa BANNON/Fine Art this Friday, April 6th at the book signing and accompanying exhibition. See more
