The University Writing Center is here to help with your final projects and papers! The Writing Center’s regular semester hours will end Tuesday, November 24, 2020. However, the Writing Center will be open for consulting sessions during finals week starting November 30 and ending December 9. The finals week hours are below. You can schedule appointments now at www.duq.edu/writing-center. All sessions will be conducted online via Zoom. We have expanded our online hours! There ...are no in-person appointments. Our staff member of the week this week is John Bennett! John is a working on his dissertation in the Doctor of Philosophy in Health Care Ethics program. He earned a B.S. in Organizational Behavior and an M.S. in Leadership from Duquesne University. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with a major in Entrepreneurship from Regent University. He holds a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) with specialization in Business English certificate. He has facilitated the writing development of students who are native and non-native English speakers in a variety of coursework. He is looking forward to being of assistance to writers at all levels in developing writing knowledge, skills, and abilities.
