Following a message from DVU President Gallo this morning, beginning this Saturday March 14th through May 1, all external and University events that are open to the public are suspended. This means that we will no longer be able to host our annual Livestock Judging and Stockmans Contest. Please know that we are disappointed that we cannot host this educational event this year, but we hope to see you all next year!
Calving is in full swing here at the Livestock Center! Each spring semester, students in Beef Science class are assigned a cow. They process her calf once it's born then follow it through the rest of the semester. This is just one example of the hands on learning our students experience in the Delaware Valley University School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences.
Applications are due March 2, 2020!
