Just before 730 tonight we were called to Route 100 and Sheree Blvd for two vehicles after an accident. Paul Sr was able to quickly clear the blue Nissan off the roadway from southbound Route 100 and Sheree. It had heavy rear end damage. Paul Jr pulled the white VW off the curb from northbound Route 100. From our understanding the white car had been traveling south but after striking the blue vehicle, it ended up on the other side of the road. Spill Tackle absorbent was used to absorb hazardous fluids that had leaked onto the roadway. No major injuries.

It sounds like House Bill 880 has been shut down for now, but I am sure the insurance companies will keep pushing behind the scenes.

Another one from Uhaul this afternoon. We got a call about a Corvette that fell off a ramp while attempting to load it onto a Uhaul trailer. The vehicle had been sold and was headed to Virginia. The vehicle had a flat tire and stuck brakes so it was fighting them as they attempted to load the vehicle. ... We were able to lift the vehicle by using a wrecker on each side. Once it was back on the ramps we were able to winch the vehicle forward.

Here’s one from last week. We were called to Horseshoe Trail at Route 100 for a manure pump into a pole. The farm tractor was pulling a tank and the pump was attached to the back of the tank. The trailer jackknifed while coming to a stop and the pump struck and cracked the pole. Once PECO was on scene to stabilize the pole, Bill and Paul Jr winched the pump back to the roadway. The tractor was able to continue down the road.

At 12:30 am we were called to the 700 block of Little Conestoga Road for one vehicle after an accident. We were advised that the vehicle was an estimated 300 feet from the roadway. The vehicle was headed toward Glenmoore when it veered off the roadway through a pole. The vehicle continued across the yard and into the woods. We were able to use 150’ of wire rope, an additional 100’ extension and some chain to reach the vehicle. The vehicle was severely damaged and had no steering but we were able to winch it back to the roadway where it was loaded onto a flatbed truck. Big thanks to our friends at Glen Moore Fire Company for the help and lighting on scene.

This morning we picked up this F150 after it struck a UPS truck at Stockton and Pennsylvania Drive. Paul Jr and Paul Sr swept you the debris and used Spill Tackle to absorb the hazardous fluids in the roadway.

Wanted: Horse and Dog feed bags As many of you know, we recycle horse and dog feed bags and use them for debris disposal bags for sharp objects and glass at accident scenes. Standard trash bags easily rip and cause a bigger mess. If anyone has any empty bags to donate, we would greatly appreciate it. Our current stash is running low.

Today just after 4 pm we were called to the parking lot of the Lionville Giant for three vehicles after a fire. We were advised that one vehicle had caught fire while parked, also catching two others on fire. No one was injured. We were able to get the parking lot cleaned up using our power broom. Each vehicle was loaded into a flatbed truck. All of the loose debris was swept and placed into disposal drums. Our crew worked together to scrape all of the melted plastic and aluminum from the area. Spill Tackle was used to absorb any hazardous fluids from the area. All three vehicles were transported to our storage lot. All remaining debris was washed from our flatbeds.
