Winter weather is forecast for the next several days. As a reminder, and to avoid any confusion, you must voluntarily register your phone number with the Distri...ct in order to receive an automatic phone call, text message, or both when the EASD is CLOSED or DELAYED due to weather. Parents and guardians must sign up for this service each year otherwise you will not be contacted when school is CLOSED or DELAYED due to weather, regardless of whether or not the decision is made and communication sent the night before or morning of the unplanned CLOSING or DELAY. If you are unsure if you have registered for this service, we encourage you to visit the district website and re-submit your preference now. When you complete the registration form, click the DONE button to submit your request. If you elect to receive the message via text, due to Federal Communication Commission guidelines, you need to send a one-time text message of YES or the letter Y to 67587 from each mobile device you registered to allow each device to receive texts from the district otherwise they will be blocked by your provider.
