The Borough of East Washington office and Public Works will be closed Friday, April 2, 2021, In observance of the Good Friday Holiday. The office will reopen, Monday, April 5th, 2021.

New School Speed Limit Signs were installed on Beau Street yesterday. The flashing lights will slow down traffic to 15 MPH during the morning drop-off and in the afternoon during dismissal.

Borough of East Washington 04.01.2021

Washington County and the PADOH will be hosting a Covid -19 Testing site starting Wednesday, January 20, 2021 through Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the Washington County Fairgrounds and Expo Center, 2151 North Main Street, Washington, Pa 15301. Tests will be administered daily from 9am until 6pm. Mid-nasal passage swab PCR tests will be administered on a first come, first serve basis, up to 450 tests per day. This will be a drive up testing location, with no appointments necessary. These tests will be administered at no cost.

With the weather slowly changing to snow this week Monday, November 30th will be the last day for collecting leaves. Please contact Public Works (Aaron 724-797-5698) if you have placed leaves at the curb this weekend or still have some at the curb for collection. Leaves will no longer be collected beginning December 1st. If you have any questions please reach out to Aaron.

Please contact Public Works (Aaron 724-797-5698) if you have placed leaves at the curb for collection and they will come out to collect them. Please note that leaves can not be collected under cars so please do not park your vehicle on top of them. It is also dangerous to park a hot car over dry leaves. The leaf machine can not pick up sticks or grass clippings.
