The American Library Association's Office for Intellectual Freedom compiles data on the most challenged books in the US. Each year during National Library Week they release their top ten list. Here's this years.
The library's D&D Campaign (Lost Mines of Phandelver) on Sunday April 11th still has 2 spots open! Email Daniel Thacker ([email protected]) by Friday April 9th to join.
This is National Library Week, but specifically today is National Library Workers Day! So, the Eiche library staff was asked to share what books have gotten them through the pandemic so far. Some of the titles help to put the trials and uncertainty of the past year in perspective, while others gave us comfort and allowed us to escape from the world for a little while. Many of these titles are available in the library's collection. https://catalog.libraries.psu.edu/
To celebrate National Library Week, we've created our Library Adventure Virtual Escape Room! Altoona Campus students who complete the escape room by Friday April 9th will be entered into a drawing to win a Portable Charger! Start your adventure here: https://psu.libwizard.com/f/libadventure2021
The library will be closed on Sunday April 4th for Easter.
