The success of BankWork$ continues! Yesterday morning, the fifth cohort of BankWork$ Pittsburgh was brought to a successful close with a half-virtual, half-onsi...te graduation ceremony. We are proud to share that nine talented men and women walked away with BankWork$ diplomas in-hand and became one step closer to achieving long-term careers in banking. Thank you, Energy Innovation Center Pittsburgh for hosting the ceremony and Dr. Paul David Spradley for the hugely inspiring words! We wish this group of students the very best of luck in their exciting new careers and are eager to see their journeys continue. Congrats to all involved!

Last week, the eight individuals who completed the program convened at Energy Innovation Cen...ter Pittsburgh to receive their diplomas, listen to words of encouragement from industry leaders (including Rich DiClaudio., Earl Buford, and Caitlin McLaughlin), and gather one last time together before taking the next steps in their careers. A major congratulations goes to these eight talented and determined students. We applaud your perseverance throughout the program, even in the midst of a global pandemic. Best of luck!

The PCT Training at the Energy Innovation Center Institute is a four week training program- Monday through Friday/ 8am -4pm. Participants are hired as temporary UPMC employees & are paid $15.12/hr. Upon successful completion of the training, participants will be considered for a PT or FT position at UPMC. Training includes instruction in: How to assist with activities of daily life Instruction in patient hygiene and comfort How to obtain and record blood glucose, weights..., vital signs, I&O, specimen collections Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, possess general computer skills, & pass a background check*. *Other conditions may apply. Thanks to the Pittsburgh Gateways Corporation, TRYPO has a new home at the Energy Innovation Center Pittsburgh f...or our 2020-21 Season in-person rehearsals (once we begin to schedule those again!). We are excited to introduce you to this amazing space and so grateful to Pittsburgh Gateways Corporation for having us this year! Here are some pretty awesome things about the building and new relationship: A Huge Room - We will be primarily using a 5,000 square foot space, so we will have lots of room to spread out. Centrally Located - Located at 1435 Bedford Avenue, just a few blocks from Duquesne University. Lots of Parking - The building has quite a few parking spots that may frequently be available. Street parking and the arena lots are close by as well. Public Transportation - There are bus stops nearby! Awesome Partners - Pittsburgh Gateways Corporation and the Energy Innovation Center are super awesome, innovative entities, and we are excited to be involved with them!
