We are currently searching for a front desk associate to add to our vibrant team. The right candidate will be reliable, organized, and energetic with an interest in the beauty and fashion field. We are interested in professional well-spoken candidates with stable work histories and who are looking for a long term position. Responsibilities include opening and closing the business as a key holder, handling phone calls via multiple phone lines, answering client emails, greeting clients, marketing and selling products/services, closing sales, handling money, reconciling the drawer, merchandising, and cleaning. This is an active "movin' and groovin'" professional customer service role - not a "behind the desk" receptionist job. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, strong organizational and communication skills, basic math skills with experience handling money, and computer skills (experience with scheduling software a plus). At least 1 year reception, customer service, or retail experience preferred. Salon specific experience is a plus. Must be available for a combination of days, nights, and weekends. Our salon hours are Monday to Friday 8-9 and Saturday/Sunday 8-4. Compensation package consists of a competitive hourly wage, bonus options, and generous employee discounts. References will be checked prior to interviewing.
