Dear Friends and Patrons We have been evaluating our options when it comes to Covid-19. It is becoming increasingly clear that we must take extraordinary measures to protect our staff, patrons, friends and families. Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, stated that he did not rule out supporting a temporary national lockdown of the country's restaurants and bars in order to curb the spread of coronavirus, saying he’d "lik...e to see a dramatic diminution of the personal interaction that we see" in those places. Out of the most abundance of caution we will be closing at the end of business tonight. We expect guidance will be provided in the next few days that will influence our decision to re-open as a dramatic increasing in testing starts this week. We realize this decision does not only impact our patrons but also our employees. We are thankful for our patrons continued support. Element

Since we took ownership of Element, we have always been focused on maintaining a safe environment for our patrons and staff. We have been closely monitoring the status of the Covd-19 virus in Allegheny County and the country. The two current cases in the county are not a result of community spread. Element is following the guidance and recommendations from Allegheny Health Department, PA Department of Health and the CDC on Covid-19.... We will continue to evaluate the status of Covid-19 and make decisions to protect our patrons and staff which may include postponing events or potentially closing for a period time. We encourage everyone to make decision for their and others best safety. We look forward being able to serve everyone soon.
