The banquet last night was very successful. We are hoping for a good turn out again tonight! We are so grateful for all the support and donations! Hope to see you here tonight!

I know it's been awhile since we had any updates but things are finally moving again.

Thank you for all the help we received the last couple Days! It is such a blessing! I am so happy to see things happening again!

Bill, Iglesia El Faro is fully committed to using our time and resources to promote the Truth of Jesus Christ. We do this as a bilingual, multicultural, evangelical church. Our missions is to Rescue, Restore, and train to extend the kingdom of God. In order to reach those goals we are developing a multifaceted plan that blends evangelism and discipleship. This is where the room renovation comes in. This room will become a key location for training disciples how to make disciples. This room will become a central location for the EFCA'S Gateway Theological Institute which will soon be taught in English and Spanish at our building. The room will also be used by our youth group and will be a blessing for our weeks of Urban Evangelism Training this summer. A final use for this room is for community outreach. Local city representatives have ask if they can use our building to host regular meetings. By have this room available for community meetings, seminars and conferences, we will be able to open doors for evangelism. Bill, this room will have an immediate positive influence on our church and the community. The El Faro Family is committed to seeing that this gets completed by the end April. I had another awesome experience Saturday morning working at Iglesia El Faro!!! Todd Andrew's Bible study group...Dean , Carl and Todd gave up there saturday morning to give time to the many on going projects. As I was driving home I was brought to tears once again....How could I be so lazy? I am so blessed yet do so little to further Gods Kingdom and this small Church with little to no resources is doing so much. Paster Tim has been coming in in the morning doing what he nee...ds to get done on a daily basics and then going up to the second floor and scraping the 2 layers of tile off the floor to expose this awesome old wood floor in order to have another room available for bigger class electives such as Gateway(Please check out the link i will try to upload later) This is a intense 12 month Bible study they are already doing in spanish but plan to use this new room to teach it in english....WOW!!! thats cross culture ministry at its best....I felt God telling me on the way home Saturday BILL just inform people whats going on at El Faro and my spirit will do the rest ....so if God lays it on your heart to give to one of the many projects please listen to him because i promise you for every $1.00 you give the amount of ministry priceless..... As I pray for the mission house God puts such a peace about it.....as he proves over and over he is in it by providing willing volunteers and donors just in time HIS TIME IS PERFECT
