Shamokin has a new website created by a Pittsburgh firm. I don’t know what the actual cost was, but as web site development goes, it could be in the tens of thousands of dollars. Mount Carmel Borough has the opportunity to have a professional looking website that can promote Mount Carmel to the world at a fraction of the cost. Shamokin’s website was created by designers who have no personal connection to Shamokin. Mount Carmel Borough has the opportunity to have their websit...e designed by a native son and current resident who will maintain the site with the care it deserves. Mount Carmel Borough Council has my proposal but declines to take action to approve it. Call them and let them know you like my site and you want to see it up and running. This is the homepage of the Mount Carmel Borough Website currently in development. Please look around to get a feel for the information it will contain.Try it out on your iPad, tablet, iPhone or smartphone. Currently there is very little data but I hope you get a feel for what I'm trying to do for the Borough and its residents. Any comments and suggestions can be sent to [email protected] .
