Sunday Morning Worship at Elkland UMC - Palm Sunday

Elkland United Methodist Church 25.04.2021

THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD HATH MADE This is the day the Lord has made; He calls the hours His own; let heav'n rejoice, let earth be glad,... and praise surround the throne. Today he rose and left the dead, and Satan's empire fell; today the saints His triumphs spread, and all His wonders tell. Hosanna to th'anointed King, to David's holy Son. help us, O LORD, descend and bring salvation from Your throne. Blest be the Lord, who comes to us with messages of grace; who comes, in God His Father's name, to save our sinful race. (Isaac Watts, 1719) https://www.facebook.com/PostcardsFromGod/

Wednesday, December 9 Antiphon O Repairer of the Ruined, Come... Scripture Isaiah 61:4 They shall build up the ancient ruins, they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the ruined cities . . . Prayerful Reflection O Repairer of the Ruined, Come~ Repair and heal our bruised and broken places. Our friendships are torn, our bodies worn, our spirits threadbare. Gather up the scattered remnants of our hopes, the scraps of our relationships, the fragments of our faith, and stitch them back together. Repair our ruins, raise us up, and heal us to make us whole once again. Amen.
