Sorry, no Fasnacht’s just more snow this week... Preliminary forecast is it could bring 6-8 inches of snow to our area. We will continue to monitor and pass on reports from the NWS as we receive them. See below and attached. Another winter storm will affect Central Pennsylvania Thursday and Thursday night. Snow will overspread from south to north during the pre-dawn hours on Thursday morning and continue through early Friday morning. A corridor of snowfall in excess of 6" is possible. A period of wintry mix/ice may reduce snow amounts in southern PA Thursday night.

Weather Update This is going to be an Icey event friends so be careful! Take your time - leave space between cars. Keep an eye on your local forecast for update changes! A strong winter storm will affect all of Central PA Monday into Tuesday morning. The heaviest snow will be over the PA Northern Tier. Moderate sleet is expected along and just north of Interstate 80. Significant icing is expected south of Interstate 80. The heaviest precipitation is expected to occur Monday... night. Noteable changes: - Winter Storm Warning expanded to include Elk and Cameron Counties. - Snow totals decreased along and south of I-80. - Ice totals increased. Get Ready. Another storm system brewing. Light freezing drizzle and light snow tonight can lead to slippery conditions on untreated surfaces. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for much of central PA for this light snow and ice. There is increasing confidence in a more substantial winter storm beginning Monday and ending Tuesday afternoon. Heavy snow (greater than 6") is possible, especially for areas along and north of I-80, and some areas west of I-99. Farther southe...ast, sleet, freezing rain and plain rain may mix in leading to lower snow amounts. The heaviest precipitation is expected Monday night to Tuesday morning. Plowable to potentially heavy snowfall (up to 6) will result in minor to moderate impacts/disruptions before ending Sunday afternoon.
