Does anyone else start to pick apart their body this time of year? Like clockwork it happens to me about this time every year. Shorts & t-shirts become a daily uniform and bathing suit season is looming and all my body image insecurities come out. Shaming myself for not sticking with that exercise routine or fad diet this past year! But why? In a society where Khloe Kardashian takes over the internet because of an ‘unedited’ picture of herself coming out is exactly why. Could... I exercise more often, yes. Could I put down the French fries more often, also yes. But it all comes down to confidence. Even when I was a size 2 I felt insecure in my body and until I learn to love myself no matter what my body shape or size it is never going to look better to me regardless of diet and exercise. I know I am not alone in this. I am a work in progress mind, body, all of it. You know one thing I love about the beauty industry is regardless of your size makeup doesn’t change, having great brows doesn’t matter what pants size you are. From a size 00-2x we all can feel beautiful and should feel pretty. So here I am all me a work in progress and that’s okay. Take note Khloe. See more
