We are excited to introduce a new FREE class for our summer programming. Cardio drumming! Classes will start on April 19th at Emmaus Community Park and run every Monday. All the details for the class are below. ... ----------- Class is held Mondays starting April 19th Time: 6:30-7:15 Place - Emmaus Community Park Cardio Drumming is a complementary class held by Healthys Emmaus. They can follow us on our Facebook at Healthys Emmaus. Cardio Drumming is a fun cardio workout done to some awesome upbeat music. Open to all ages and the class is completely modifiable you do what you can. Even if it means bringing a chair and sitting and just working on your up body that’s great Supplies Needed: Yoga ball- 65-75cm. A 17 gallon bucket with handles. Drum sticks: we have for 3.00 a set

We are bringing back Zumba in the Park this year! Classes will be held on Saturday mornings at Emmaus Community Park at 9 am starting May 1st, and are FREE to the public. Bring lots of energy and a water bottle. You are in for an awesome workout!... ***COVID 19 social distancing protocols will remain in place as they were last summer to insure the safety of all participants and instructors.

The Emmaus Kiwanis Club is having a Drive Thru Easter Egg Hunt this year. Here are the details. Saturday April 3, 2021 1:00 3:00 PM Rain or Shine For kids ages 1-10 years of age only MEET the Easter Bunny! Enter Emmaus Community Park on 14th St. and turn left on the service road and continue to follow signs to a welcoming Easter Bunny and receive 2 Easter Bags one filled with special eggs and the other a craft project donated by the Emmaus Library. Limited quantities available. Filled eggs will be distributed meeting social distancing guidelines The bags will be extended in a basket on a 6 ft pole to your open car window. We will be masked so you do not need to get out of the car. Wave at the Easter Bunny and continue out the park.

Did you know Emmaus has a Special Entertainment Commission? It's a volunteer commission that puts on events like the summer concert series, movie night in the park, and other events. If you're interested in joining, please fill out an application which can be found on our website below.

Want to play a role in envisioning the future of Borough parks and recreation? The Borough of Emmaus is conducting a study of our parks, trails, recreation areas, and green spaces. The Borough will also be creating a plan specifically for improving Lions Field and needs public input. Please join this virtual meeting and spread the word!

The Borough of Emmaus is currently conducting a Parks, Recreation, Greenways and Trails Study. The study is 100% funded through grant money. We have contracte...d Simone Collins as our consultant. Because it is a study that is designed to help create the future for our parks, recreation, and trail programs, it is based on public feedback. While commenting on this post is not the way to participate in the study, we absolutely encourage you to click on both links below to participate. Public feedback is crucial through the surveys. There will also be a series of public meetings over the course of the next 8 - 10 months that we encourage you to participate in.
