What an amazing year this has been! The pandemic has turned our lives upside-down and forced us to re-think everything we do. EMS Update 2021 is a perfect example of making the best of a challenging situation and, thanks to all of you, it became a surprising success! More than 800 participants registered for 44 classes over three days. According to statistics taken from the virtual platform used to host the conference, you collectively viewed more than 18,000 hours of pres...entations in total. Although our traditional in-person EMS Update conference has a wide reach, this year 53 Pennsylvania counties were represented, along with 13 states and even views from Ireland! We don’t measure success by looking at the amount of time and effort we put into EMS Update, but rather by how much value you get as a result of that effort. When we receive comments such as To the staff of EMS Update 2021 it has been a great experience!!!!! and I have got to admit that this is possibly the best coned program I have ever attended along with EMS West has done an outstanding job putting together EMS Update LiveStream, we are gratified. Without all of you, EMS Update 2021 would not have been a success! One of the most flattering comments was sent to Joe Saturday morning: Joe...Once again you and the entire EMS West staff have knocked it out of the park. This year has proven why you are the platinum standard that all conferences should strive to reach. Shows that it does not take special events and surroundings to get amazing classes. Keep up the good work and hope to see you all at the mountain next year. You all are the best of the best and am proud to say that I am part of the EMS West family. (Thank you, Timothy Benamati!) So Save the Dates March 24, 25 and 26, 2022. We hope to be live and in-person at Seven Springs Mountain Resort for the 35th Annual EMS Update. Please plan to join us. Continuing Education hours will be uploaded to all Pennsylvania EMS Provider accounts by the close of business on March 31, 2021. We will work to issue this type of certificate over the next couple of weeks.

We invited Caad and Kori from Caad’s Cookies to visit us today and drop off the official cookie of EMS Update 2021. Caad loves baking with his mom and loves emergency vehicles and with the help of our friends at Robinson EMS we were able to surprise Caad as he personally delivered our cookies.
