The first workshop for our Junior Composer Program is TODAY at the Deane Center in Wellsboro! The workshop begins at 3:30pm. EMMF and the Science & Discovery Center have collaborated to develop an educational program for students of all ages in school and college, combining STEM elements with music utilizing technology to create a Jr. Composer Program. Students will receive masterclasses from eight Hollywood composers who are scheduled to perform at the 2021 Endless Mountain Music Festival, and participants in the program will have a chance to meet these artists! This week's featured artist is Mani Subramaniam! He is the Paganini of the Indian Violin. His illustrious family has appeared throughout the world and the famed Silk Road has included many of his colleagues and friends. Mani’s wife Kavita is a leading Bollywood artist, singing on over 200 films. Mani also headlines a major Indian Music Festival and has appeared a few times at the Endless Mountain Music Festival.
