1/30/21. Marlin, Norwegian Twsp. Rooftop heating unit fire. Norwegian Twsp FD, Pottsville sta 30-50-60 Dispatched. E-62 Responded. Utilities secured, Fire extinguished.

Don’t forget when you change your clocks to change the batteries in your smoke detectors. Also make sure you test your carbon monoxide detectors.

Be sure to stop by the fire truck tonight and get candy and fire safety handouts. Our fire police will be around the village tonight for a safe trick or treat!

On this day, please join us in recognizing the heroic men and women in our communities who take immediate action when disaster strikes. Congress designated Oct. 28 as National First Responders Day in 2017. The resolution honors the firefighters, police officers, EMTs and all those who are first on the scene to save lives and properties.

Huge thank you to everyone who supported our chicken bbq today! We again sold out of chicken and had just enough left over to feed our friends at the schuylkill county 911 center and life flight 5. Thank you for supporting our volunteer fire department!!

First batch of chicken is almost off!! Starts at 10am and goes to 4pm.
