Today we began offering front-line caregivers a shot of hope! WellSpan received its first shipments of the COVID-19 vaccine this week, and will be vaccinating team members according to the PA Department of Health's three-phased plan. Friday, team members at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital, WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital, WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital and WellSpan Surgery and Rehabilitation Hospital received the vaccine, with clinics in additional locations planned.

We encourage our team members and community members to make an informed decision about getting the vaccine. Today, we are one step closer. Our hospitals received supplies to set up employee vaccination clinics. Following the Department of Health's phased approach, our frontline caregivers will be offered the vaccine first.
