Red Panda Cub Update: "Neo" loves his biscuits! We are so excited this little guy is using those chompers and eating like a grown up red panda! "Joe" is a little more hesitant than "Neo" and not quite ready to give up his formula, but he's coming around. Both are still loving their bamboo though!

Happy 4th birthday to our silly little "Otis"! Volunteers and staff threw him a car themed birthday party complete with yummy treats for both humans and orangutans! Check back later to see the full birthday video! "Otis'" cake is made of fruit granola bar, vanilla yogurt frosting, and fruit roll up ribbon served on a leaf of butter lettuce!

The Flo Fabrizio Ice Center starts Public Skate again sessions this Friday! Public skate sessions are every Friday and Saturday from 7pm-9pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-2pm. Doors open 30 minutes prior to session. Tickets and skate rentals are available at the door. Remember to social distance and face masks are required

Red Panda Cub Update: The boys are climbing! One of the vet staff captured this adorable video of "Neo" and "Joe" waking up and coming out of their tree house! #DidYouKnow? Red pandas' feet are made for climbing! They have long, sharp claws and furry paw pads that help them grip slippery branches and flexible ankles that allow them to even climb down trees headfirst!

King of the snow pile #DidYouKnow? Eurasian lynx fur changes color based on the season! This winter "Toby's" fur is a lighter greyish-brown color. Once the summer comes, it will turn to a brighter red-brown! Regardless of what color he is, we think "Toby" is pretty handsome, don't you agree?

These two cuties celebrated birthdays this week! "Ryker" turned 8 years old on the 4th and "Micco" turns 7 years old today! Happy birthday, boys! #DidYouKnow? Female golden lion tamarins typically give birth to twins and the whole group will help take care of them, especially the fathers!

That's why our three babies "Khari", "Zuberi" and "Volana" were such an excited development for the species' survival! Due to Governor Wolf's most recent order, the Flo Fabrizio Ice Center will be closed starting Dec. 12th, 2020 through Jan. 4th, 2021. We will have our last public skate of the year tonight from 7pm-9pm. As of right now, we plan to reopen after the order is lifted, but stay tuned for updates as plans may change due to Covid-19.
