Last week was full of celebration and moments to support women in various ways. Our challenge to each individual is to continue to support the conversations and the action every day leading toward equality. Let’s celebrate women not just because, but because we have the best reason to celebrate in honor of all women across ERIKS! Thank you to all of our inspiring women who were featured last week and to all associates across ERIKS who choose to challenge.

Through our focus on diversity and inclusion, ERIKS was recently able to raise the number of women senior management roles from 8% to 20%. Women also now hold 40% of positions on our ERIKS Management Board. Though we are happy with these achievements, we know more work needs to be done. This week we celebrated International Women’s Day, celebrating women's achievement, raising awareness against bias and acting for equality. In honor of women across all ERIKS’ family of companies in North America, we will continue to celebrate our inspiring women not just this week, but every day. #IWD2021 #ChooseToChallenge

Recently, ERIKS in Sarnia, ON was able to deliver some large hose assemblies to a nearby energy transportation and midstream service provider. We were able to efficiently deliver these to the customer to meet their lead time requirements and they were very happy with our customer service. Recently, David Clover, ERIKS North America Senior Gasket Product/Application Specialist was published in Chemical Processing Magazine. The article highlights the success one refinery had after installing the ALKY-ONE gasket into their HF acid alkylation units. The refinery installed 3,119 ALKY-ONE gaskets during the 2015 turnaround.
