This week we feature: Evangelismos of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox church, Philadelphia. This community is known for their Easter service. Parishioners reenact a firework tradition that fills the sky at the stroke of midnight. The custom hails from the Island of Chios. They are also known for their traditional Greek food, made just like they do in Greece by immigrant parishioners.
