Also at light up night if you reside in the borough we will be having sign ups for our the neighborhood house decoration contest and you can sign up at our Christmas celebration or register with any member until December 12th judging to take place December 19th.

The everson civics organization is pleased to announce in conjunction with the everson volunteer fire company to have Everson's Christmas celebration 2020. With that being said, we have made some changes to have this event safely in light of covid-19. The parade will start at 630pm and while waiting for the parade we will have our lighting ceremony of the nativity. After the parade passes the fire station with Santa we will socially distance in the hall while waiting for Sant...a, unfortunately no sitting at tables and cookies will be available for to go only. Kids will be able to talk to Santa and take pictures but we kindly ask that no one sit on Santa for safety precautions and mask wearing is strongly encouraged indoors but we are not going to force anyone to wear a mask due to health or wellness concerns. We are complying with the covid-19 recommendations for this event and hope to see everyone there on Friday November 27th at the Everson VFC social hall. Treat bags will given to kids after their visit with Santa and pictures can be taken. Thank you for your support and understanding. See more

This Saturday morning, the everson civics organization is going to put up half of the Christmas lights on brown street. If anyone is interested in helping us put them up it would be greatly appreciated. Any questions please reach out to us. Also our annual light up festivities planning is in full swing as we will be having our Christmas light up celebration on November 27th more details to be announced soon. Just wanted to pass this on. Saw someone post in Scottdale live about people trying to get in to people's cars in the alley behind the 400 block of Brown street street. Please be vigilant in everson, keep your cars locked and your doors locked at your house. Only information known is unknown actor was seen running up the alley towards the post office area. If you see anything please call 911 for the everson borough police or the Pennsylvania state police barracks Belle Vernon. The everson civics organization takes the safety of our community seriously and cares about what goes on in the community and the surrounding areas.
