Troopers Assist in 10th Annual David’s Touch Foundation Toy Drive For the past 10 years, David’s Touch Foundation has provided care and support to terminally il...l children. The foundation was created by Jenny and Rick Rosado in memory of their son David, who lost his battle with cancer at the age of nine, and has helped deliver thousands of toys to children in hospitals. Last week, Sgt. David DeJesus and Tpr. I Reinaldo Cruz teamed up with David's Touch Foundation to distribute another 4,500 toys to children in hospitals across the State. The troopers and volunteers visited six hospitals including Robert Wood Johnson University, PSE&G Children's Specialized Hospital, Cancer Institute of N.J., Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, Newark Beth Israel, and St. Joseph's Medical Center in Paterson. This year’s toy distribution could not have been made possible without the assistance of the Perth Amboy Police Department, Rutgers University Police Department, Woodbridge Police Department, Arrow Limousine, and Samson's Auto Mall. Great job by all involved!
