Do you believe in the power of art to inspire, transform, and renew? The Fabric Workshop and Museum’s current exhibition, Samara Golden: Upstairs at Steve’s (September 10, 2020 - February 21, 2021), invites us to reflect on the tumult of 2020 and contend with the unforeseeable future. This exhibition is just one example of how art can help people to make sense of a rapidly changing world. Anyone who has relied on cultural organizations to remain connected during this year of... self-isolation knows that art matters. As an institution committed to the creation and exhibition of art, FWM advances the work and ideas of contemporary artists. Year-round we support creativity and amplify artistic voicesfrom school children just beginning to experiment with art, to burgeoning artists enrolled in our High School and College/Postgraduate Apprentice Training Programs, to emerging and established Artists-in-Residence (AIRs). Our collaborations support artists, inspiring them to dream big, stretch themselves, and realize ambitious projects. With the Museum closed until 2021 due to COVID-19, we ask for your support to help FWM continue serving our communities and the artists whose work gives us all so much. If you believe in the power of art to inspire, transform, and renew, please make a tax-deductible gift to FWM’s Annual Fund today. Your gift strengthens FWM’s mission, supports artistic collaboration and programming onsite and in our communities, and directly impacts artists like current AIRs Jonathan Lyndon Chase and Samara Golden. Thank you for your commitment to FWM we couldn’t have survived 2020 without you! We look forward to welcoming you back to the Museum in 2021. Sincerely, Christina Vassallo, Executive Director Maja Paumgarten, President of the Board
