Help is Needed! I received a message from a friend today she is a local mother, her son and his unit is in Afghanistan So I am posting her message in hopes I co...uld get help from my family and friends to help her in helping her son and his unit If you can help please message me and I will make plans to pick up donations I will also be at The Falls Hotel Wednesday 9/23 from 4pm to 8 pm as well as The Conewago Inn (Tavern side) Thursday 9/24 from 5pm to 9 pm if anyone would like to drop off any donations for this good cause ...Stop in and get a bite to eat & a drink or two by doing so we would be all working together to support OUR TROOPS as well as Our Local Bars that could also use our support during these times Well thank you a head of time for all of your support and God Bless America and the True Americans that Support one another Her message to me is as follows ; Good morning Tammy, I am asking for a favor if at all possible. My Son's unit in Afghanistan is one of the only units left. They started to send troops and supplies home with the homes that they would all be home by October. Their deployment has now been extended without a definite return date. Any donations that we can gather and send would help them greatly. Showing a bit of appreciation to them for the sacrifices that they endure everyday. Please let me know if you or any of your friends are able to donate anything at all. Under ware, socks, sweat pants, long underwear. Soap, shampoo and conditioner, Qtips, toothpaste, snacks, entertainment items. Balls, books, magazines. Just anything we take for granted everyday. Just to clarify..... We are open Wednesday and Thursdays from 3PM til 10PM. Friday, Saturday and Sundays from Noon til 9PM.... Kitchen hours are the same. Orders must be placed 15 minutes before kitchen closes.
