We all have become very fond of our week (month this year!) at "the lake house". The kids have made amazing memories and will always look back on the time spent there as the best week of any summer. My son Lukas was especially happy there this summer after being quarantined since March. He ...had been quite sad and bored, from online learning and no real playtime with friends, until the time at the lake. He hid in the closet so that he wouldn't have to pack to leave on the last day.
