New Company Branding for "LandSea" Wireless Internet out of Baton Rouge, LA. Client had requested a sailboat but we gave them additional options. As it turns out...simple is best. They went with #1.

When your wine label client has a REALLY specific vision and wants A LOT of stuff crammed together, you cringe...and then you make it work! We were sent dog pictures and the very specific request for a stylized illustration that included: Barnwood walls, a penny floor, a wine barrel with a wine & cheese plate on top, both dogs flanking the barrel and looking up at said wine & cheese plate and finally, a grungy-overlay so it looks like those stylized dog canvases that you get for your kitchen that say things like Labradoodle Cafe or Boston Terrier Brewery.... Nooooo Problem! whew.

It was only a matter of time before a branding project in the super-booming cannabis industry came our way! This company, based in Wisconsin, makes specialty fertilizer specifically for marijuana industry growers. They requested a modern cannabis leaf, with roots or a "growing" feel. Well, THIS was a fun project! We were asked to do "Victorian style" product packaging for Langston Farms. The Mistletoe "Kit" will be used as a seasonal gift mailing, complete with mistletoe sprig, string, push pin, and breath mints. Most of the label elements were custom illustrated, including a posterized-style render of the Farm's signature barn, erected in the late1800's. #JobLove

Seasoned design dogs can always learn new tricks! We do a lot of packaging, so Adobe Dimensions classes will be a big help in setting up 3-D prototypes and product visuals in a fraction of the time. Learning emerging software and keeping up with continuing education is an important part of being able to provide clients with the best options.

We went crazy "Old School" this week and hand-doodled the photo overlay for the new Square Cafe menu cover. Looks like some tasty new dishes are headed your way if you are a cafe regular!

This year we were lucky enough to illustrate an entire teenie-tiny library of furniture, decor and appliances for their model floorplans.
